WordPress Wranglin’

I’ve learned a lot in a few months.   Until I moved here, my only experience with web design was dragging and dropping in iWeb.  Now I’ve done custom installs of WordPress, edited the graphics and CSS in some themes, and as of today chopped my way into the php code to set up a multi-user install.  I’m also building and editing my own graphics in CS5, and working on having layered backgrounds by using transparency in the .png images stacked up over the site’s background colour.

Not bad, junior, not bad.

Wow, wow, wow! Your site is one of those delicious-looking ones I will come back to again and again, just for the beauty of it. The fact that you are posting about food and tech and education, make it a trifecta of genius.

Love that you tag your own posts with ‘nerd’.

Wish we were in the same city so I could learn more about how to do this…!

I figured if I’m going to put my own name on a blog, I should make it reflect my life, not just my job. Since all my music content is branded separately, this is what I get kicks out of =)

As for the nerd tag… know thyself =)

WordPress isn’t too tricky. I could Skype you up a crash course.
